Pino Signoretto Signed Murano Glass Birds

An unreal glass sculpture by the renowned Pino Signoretto in Murano glass- the best glass in the world. Pino Signoretto is a contemporary Italian glass artist. He uses traditional Murano glassblowing techniques to depict animals, pop-culture icons, and art historical eras. Born on September 28, 1944 in Venice, Italy, he first began glassblowing as an apprentice of Alfredo Barbini. After his apprenticeship, the artist began working in the technical and commercial glassblowing industry. Since the mid-1980s, Signoretto has been internationally recognized for his work, with exhibitions and teaching demonstrations all over the world. He has gone on to consult and fabricate work for numerous contemporary artists, including Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, Kiki Smith, and Jeff Koons. Signoretto lived and worked in Murano, Italy.
